Several people were hurt after a Delta Airlines flight from LA to Sydney encountered rough air this past Friday.

Flight DL41 "encountered brief turbulence" as it touched down at Sydney Airport, a company official stated. Several cabin crew members required medical attention.

Local paramedics reported they treated five patients, and took three of them to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries that included pain in the back and headaches. The injured spanned from their 30s up to the 70s.
